My name is Isaac Rivelle. I’m a real estate agent that is living and working in Seattle, WA. I have some experience fixing up homes, but my construction knowledge is actually rather modest. While I do have some skills that will help with this project, and I plan on doing most of it myself, I expect to ask for a lot of help along the way.
I don’t know how to weld, I am not an architect, I don’t trust myself with electricity, I’ve never worked with plumbing, I have never owned an RV, and I am not rich. I do have a budget, friends, some tools, some plans written on graph paper, a lot of websites bookmarked, and a willingness to make mistakes. Most of what I’m doing for this project is stuff that I’ve picked up from other blogs or Youtube.
The knowledge that people contribute online has been an enormous help throughout this project. I created this blog to give back to that community. I’m trying to document as much as possible and will do my best to answer questions that arise so that I may inspire somebody else to go out and build something. I will especially focus on the parts of this project that fill in the gaps of information that I feel are missing from the blogs and videos that I’ve sifted through.
Thanks for taking an interest in this project.
